I graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a BA in Design (Visual Communications). So, in true designer style, my small business was not going anywhere until the logo was established. Today I reached that milestone. With the creation of the logo, the blog design also fell into place. Just imagine where my business will go from here!

The Seoul logo is inspired by droplets on dew glistening on a spiders web. It symbolizes the vital connectivity of one website to another, of one web page to another within each website, and ultimately of one person to another. These intricate relationships are critical to ensure that motivated prospects find your website.

I have been blogging for my Day Job for nearly 2 years now. I have 3 blogs through Blogspot.com. Consequently, I have become very familiar with the layout/settings etc. of this free blog software. I am less familiar with WordPress – the chosen platform for SEOul Search Marketing.

I am publically blogging the very gradual growth and formulation of my business profile, services and identity. I am not yet content with the layouts offered by WordPress and keep changing the appearance of this blog. Consequently, don’t be surprised if you see the look n’ feel change a few times in the coming weeks as I keep tweaking everything. The more I tweak, the more I learn.

Winter Storm Warning

…And then the snow started falling and winter took a tight grip on Steamboat Springs.

SEOul Search Marketing is presently my hobby; my after-hours love affair. One day, I hope it will be the soul center of my universe (pun intended).

For now, I can’t give up my day job. Fortunately my day job as the Marketing Director for a Steamboat’s lodging company is the perfect haven for SEO experimention, learning and experience.

In November 2008, I made my first baby-steps to launch my SEOul Search Marketing business. The momentum came to a screaming halt as winter took hold of Steamboat Springs and my ‘day job’ consumed my every possible waking-working moment.

After a weekend of skiing in blissful, blazing sunshine, Spring is certainly on the horizon and winter is warming up to summer. With warmer weather comes optimism, and new enthusisam to continue my SEOul Searching adventures.

Today I launched my new website, www.SEOulSearchMarketing.com for my new Search Engine Optimization (SEO) marketing, design and consulting business. For now, I am hosting it on www.wordpress.com.

This business has come about due to an ever-increasing demand from friends and small business owners around me – in Steamboat Springs, Colorado – seeking help with website marketing and SEO.

Day 1 Goals: Today I merely set-out to set-up an email account, a domain, a blog – and then link the three resources.

Day 2 Goals: Design, layout, and SEO for my own small site. The test: Can I practice what I teach?!

In conclusion: if you are fortunate enough to see my very first post, please know that there is more to come – much more. I am steadfastly and passionately SEOul Searching my way to a successful business.
